Gateway
Google PowerMeter Gateway (PMG-01) is an hardware adapter, which can read the energy reading from the different energy meters and upload the information to Google PowerMeter tool. Using PMG-01 any energy meter can be brought out online with much hassles. Energy meters can be hooked up with PMG-01 through RS485 port or through digital pulses emanating from the energy meters. PMG-01 can be hooked to the internet via the Ethernet port and through the local internet proxy servers.
Configuration
PMG-01 has inbuilt web server , which serves the web pages for configurations.

Any OEM Energy meter manufacture, wish to integrate into their product, it can be done quickly, and can offer many other additional functionalities also. PMG-01 can quickly enable the simple energy meter into a power full smart meter. Gauranga can provide such web solutions also.
