Port Speed Radar

OWL Port Speed Radar measures speed of landing vessels in a port to protect wharfs or docks from accidental crash of ships pulling in. To ensure safe landing, it is critical to slow down the vessel in time (e.g. while it is twice the shipa s length away). For a long time, making a ship landing at a right speed relies on the experience of captains. If an accurately measured speed is presented at any time, active adjustment can be made instantly, thus landing can be made easier, and possible damages can be prevented.
OWL Port Speed Radar is specially designed for this purpose. It can be used to measure vessel speed pulling into and out of the dock. It features low detectable speed range (0.02 knots) and high accuracy (0.001 knots, able to resist the influence of echo). It also features light weight, compact size and user-friendly interface.
