Poha Making Machine(chira)

The paddy is graded, sorted and then soaked in water for about 4-6 hours. The water is removed and the paddy is roasted in Roaster Machine which is filled with Sand. The hot paddy that comes out from the Roaster Machine is then poured into the Poha Machine. The high speed pressure shaft of the Poha Machine is used to flatten the paddy and to remove the husk from the paddy

Fully Automatic Poha (Chira) Plant

For Manufacturing Poha, following machineries are required:

a) Roaster of size 14' x 4'' dia shaft , having production capacity of 1000kg-1200kg per hour, complete set.
b) Poha Pan made of C.I (Cast Iron), Heavy duty, of size 38" x 9" x 2", with Pressure Shaft, Pressure Pulley & Other std. accessories.
c) Poha Screening Machine (Chalna) of 6'- 8' length, complete with nets and other accessories.

Total Power Required:
1)10 H.P, 1500 RPM, Electric Motor for Poha Machine
2)5 H.P, 1500 RPM, Electric Motor for Roaster Machine
3)2H.P, 1500 RPM, Electric Motor for Screening Machine (Chalna)

Therefore, Total Power required = 17 H.P for the whole plant.
