Cartridge filters are recommended for use in the dust collection application where the dust load in the raw gas is less then 10 gsm/NM3, as the pleat depth in the cartridge filters ore 40 mm & 48 mm,in standard cartridges of size 225 & 325 mm dia, respectively. For handling dust load greater than above mentioned. Pleated bags are the solution with lesser pleat depth, the relation between the pleat depth and dust load in inverse, higher the dust load,it is recommended to have less pleat depth.
