1) The most significant differentiation is that it is free of laminating adhesive. This ensures that there is practically zero percent chance of de-lamination as oppose to other backsheets. It is also fluorine free which is a step towards use of eco-friendly raw material for solar panel manufacturing.

2) The moisture vapour transmission rate is <1gm/m2/day, which is much better than the backsheets available in the market as of today. this helps in reducing the Potential Induced Degradation (PID) of the solar panel which ultimately increases the panel's life.

3) The backsheet has been tested for 1086 hours at 155C and 2086 hours at 145C and did not undergo any degradation. In other words, if this backsheet is to be placed in a pressure cooker aging (PCT) machine, it will remain unchanged even after 96 hours (121C, 100% RH) whereas most of the backsheet's won't even withstand 48 hours testing. It is possible only because of complete elimination of PET from the backsheet.
