Prof. P N Behl, (MB; FRCP (Edin.); FICA; FIMAS) occupied a distinguished position among the leading physicians in India, and was a world renowned dermatologist and specialist in cutaneous surgery. Being a visionary, he devoted himself to teaching, writing, farming and missionary work. He held the post of Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology in Maulana Azad Medical College and Irwin Hospital, and that of visiting lecturer in Lady Hardinge Medical College, College of Nursing and J.N. He visited the U.S., U.S.S.R., Europe, China and the Far East and delivered lectures at various universities and scientific centres.
