We are engaged in supplying and trading of O2 Suspension in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Infections caused by more than one type of organisms are called as mixed infections and the best therapeutic option for their treatment is to combine two different drugs with different mechanism of action. O2 is a combination of ofloxacin and ornidazole. Ofloxacin is second generation antibiotic which inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, interfering in the synthesis of DNA in the bacteria and shows bactericidal action. Ornidazole is a newer nitroimidazoles with superior efficacy and longer duration of action. It kills susceptible microorganisms by interfering with DNA functioning. Hence combination of these two drugs shown higher efficacy, broad antimicrobial spectrum, least incidence of side effects and both are well tolerated.
