This a hollow plastic pigment particle provides excellent opacity, gloss, rightness, oil - absorption, ink - receptivity, smoother surface, water resistance, gas permeability, great bulk and thermal insulation properties for coated paper.
In application, NTP COAT PP-990 can replace a portion or the whole of commonly use pigments, such as calcium carbonate, clay or the other inorganic pigments.
It is also compatible with synthetic pigments, satin white, organic pigments. NTP COAT PP-990 is widely used for art paper, paperboard, and lightweight coated paper. Ultra - lightweight coated paper, cast coated paper, label coated paper and thermal recording paper.
