It's mechanical toughness, very low moisture absorption, wide range of service temperature from - 40A C to 150A C, good wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, resistance to UV, self extinguishing nature and transparency to radiation renders it useful in host of applications in chemical processing, food, pharmaceutical and paper manufacturing.
