Properties
solubility in water at 20 deg. C. TO less than 0.01 percent

2.soluble in butyl acetate, butyl cellusolve , vegetable oils white mineral oils, stoddard solvent, and kerosene and commonly used aliphatic solvent, toluene , chlorinated hydrocarbon , solvents , dibutyl phthalate, and isopropanol.

Despersible in ethylene glycol.

3.excellent oil soluble wetting and dispersing agent for grinding pigments in oil medium.

4.good emulisifier for preparing water a in- oil emulsions of aliphatic hydrocarbons .Is
Useful as a co- emulsifier to increase the emulsifying power of the emulsifiers giving oil-
in- water type emulsions and also as a coupling agent to increase their solubility in vegetable and mineral oils and solvents.
