Nitrocellose cotton is white floc and chips fibre, the density is 1.65-1.67g/cm3 , can be liquefied in acetonet, ethyl acetate, camphor liquid etc. It is flammable., and sensitive to machinery impact when the moistening agents is lower. Because the different condition during nitration, nitrocellose have a different nitrogen content and solubility. When the nitrogen content exceeds 12.5%, it is unstable.
