This Neukine - Filgrastim 300mcg Medicine is recommended to patients undergoing bone marrow transplants. It helps in normal generation of white blood cells (neutrophils) in patients. This drug belongs to a class of medications called colony-stimulating agents. It contains an active ingredient filgrastim and is prescribed to stimulate the production of granulocytes in patients. In addition, this medicine is also prescribed for decreasing the risk of infection in patients with weak immune systems due to other causes. It is widely indicated for the treatment of neutropenia, bone marrow transplant patients and chemotherapy receiving patients.
