Zoldria - Zoledronic Acid Injection is basically a bisphosphonate. The medicine is primarily used for prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Recommended for men and postmenopausal women, the medication is also highly effective against Paget's disease and osteoporosis caused by steroid treatment. The medicine works by reducing the amount of calcium released from the bones into the blood. Contains zoledronic acid as the active ingredient, the medicine is also used for preventing prevent skeletal fractures in patients suffering from cancers such as multiple myeloma and prostate cancer.
