N2 Generating Unit

PSA N2 generating unit is used for the production of nitrogen from atmospheric air. This unit works on PSA nitrogen technology principle, wherein, it utilizes two towers which are filled with carbon molecular sieve (CMS). When the compressed air is passed from the bottom of one tower, the smaller molecules in it are absorbed by the CMS, while the larger nitrogen molecules pass through the CMS. Once CMS is saturated with oxygen, its regeneration in tower started by depressurizing. At the same time, another tower is switched to start the process over again.
