Interrupted Galvanic Current: This is used for diagnosis and the extent of Muscle lesion. It is used for diagnosis of muscle activities by plotting S-D Curve of the defective muscle. S-D curve can be plotted on a semilog graph sheet. Pulse width variations are in 10 steps from .01 to 300MS.
Faradic Current: Pulses generated are of short duration (0.6 ms) at the rate of 80 pulses/second. Tetanic muscles contraction and muscle fatigue is achieved in short duration since the rate is 80 pps.
Surged Faradic Current: Faradic Pulses are surged. Peak tetanizing is reached from 2 seconds to 4 second. Rest period is adjustable from 2 to 5 second. Action corresponds similar to voluntary contraction.
