Block Board

Block boards at P.R. Industries are made out of excellent quality of plantation timber. "SDR" method is used for making battens and frame. This method provides straight longer size battens and frame to ensure gaps are elemenated in this product. Planks are chemically treated in the dipping tank and later seasoned in a kiln according to scheduled temperature and humidity control chart before converting into battens and frames.

Block boards are pressed in hot press under controlled conditions (temperature and pressure). High quality phenol formaldyde resins(conforming to IS: 848 specification) are used for gluing veneers. This products is treated with a special type preservatives which insulate the Block board and make resistance against borers fungi termites and other micro organism etc
