Modified Starch Production Machinery

We are offering our customers a wide range of Modified Starch Production Machinery, which are made from high grade quality raw materials. The starch milk is gravimetrically set to a certain basic concentration, and the required pH-value is then set in a reactor by the addition of chemicals. The reaction is started by the addition of appropriate reactants, the exothermic reaction being cooled with water. Thereafter, the product is neutralized. The chemically modified starch is washed with water and then dewatered, before it is dried in a pneumatic dryer and sieved; if necessary, it can be subjected to particle-reduction by milling.
Different recipes allow the production of a plurality of modified starches, the properties of which can be adapted to the respective intended use.
Modified starches are chiefly used in the paper, textile and food industries.
