BNNSPEAG Test & Calibration Laboratory India Pvt. Ltd a joint venture between BNN Communication Engineers, India (BNN) and Schmid & Partner Engineering AG, Zurich, Switzerland (SPEAG) offers SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) test facility for Mobile Phones / PDAa s / Laptops / Tablets and other RF Devices at Delhi NCR in India.

SAR is closely related to electric field strengths produced inside human body tissues while using wireless device in proximity to body. Lower the value of SAR, safer the device for the human use.

As per the DoT / TEC Memorandum dated 17th August, 2012, the mobile handset
Manufacturers in India have to provide selfa declaration of SAR value on the handsets. In respect of imported handsets from other countries, manufacturers, apart for self declaration of SAR, shall specify the SAR information on their documents for verification by the appropriate authority.

BNNSPEAG Lab has been setup for making SAR measurement for CDMA, GSM and Wi-Fi / Zigbee Technologies in the frequency range of 700 Mhz a 6 Ghz. Inter Lab Comparison with a 17025 accredited Lab in Europe have yielded excellent results.
The Lab is now ready to undertake SAR measurement in respect of Mobile Phones/PDAa s/Laptop/Tablets and now other RF devices at Delhi NCR in India.
