Mithacrylic Acid Copolymers

We are manufacturing, exporting,supplying and trading a wide range of Mithacrylic Acid Copolymers to our consumers. MAHICOAT - S 100 is an anionic copolymer based on methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate. The copolymer corresponds to USP/NF "Methacrylic Acid copolymer. Type B". It is insoluble in acids and pure water. It becomes soluble in a neutral to weakly alkaline milieu by forming salts with alkalis, thus affording enteric film coatings which are soluble in intestinal juice.
Applications :

Coating of tablets and pills (Colorless and transparent: colored with pigments)
Coating of pellets, granules, powders.



To improve the keeping properties protection against moisture, light and air-coatings stable under tropical conditions.
For resistance to gastric juice with delayed drug release in the intestines (from pH 7.0 upwards)
For resistance to gastric juice with delayed drug release in the intestines when mixed with MAHICOAT - L 100 (range : pH 6.0 - 7.0)
To insulate hygroscopic cores.
To isolate porous cores.
For the production of film coating for lozenges and troches.
