The low mass of the Accelerometer-1020 makes them ideal for use in conducting Vibration Resonance Searches on small sub assemblies, PCBs, etc. associated with Aircraft Instrumentation, Computer Peripherals, Telecommunications Equipment, and Automobile Instruments and Components, and for Packaging Approval Tests, and many other similar tasks.
The MINIATURE ACCELEROMETERS has a plain base making it convenient to attach to the component under investigation, and it can be easily mounted and demounted using hard beeswax, without damage to the component: Or where appropriate, cyanoacrylate cement (superglue) may be used as an alternative adhesive.
In spite of their small physical size, the 1020 series Miniature Accelerometers have a useful 6.0 pC/g output sensitivity, giving a good signal to noise ratio necessary for low vibration level investigations.
