Maxchek Meter

The Maxchek meter allows the electricity users to optimally control their demand. This predictive maximum demand controller allows stage wise load restoration to maximize the use of sanctioned load.

The Maxchek meter offers:
* Predictive demand control to suitably forewarn and take corrective measures, to check maximum demand crossovers.
* Multi-level priority based automatic load control mechanism for automatic disconnection of low priority loads in phased manner.
* Optimization of the time of load disconnection.
* Online load planning by continuously indicating loads that can be added or needs to be disconnected (within safe operating limits)
* A compact user friendly hand-held programmer for filed programming.
* A check meter with built-in energy meter.

The programming options:
There are two modes of programming using the hand held MDC programmer, configuration mode and setup mode.

A. Configuration Mode:
In configuration mode, the user can program the MDC for contact demand, Demand integration period, Demand unit and MD Calculation basis.

B. Setup Mode:
In setup mode, the user can set the following parameters of the MDC unit:
* Priority wise trip load value setting
* Allowed demand limit setting
* Time setting

Control Outputs :
The 4 control outputs of the MDC are built into MDC unit and accessible after removal of the terminal block cover. The control outputs are potential free contacts and they are used for the alarm and trip applications.
