NF511 is a Proderma nickel-free, palladium-based master alloy for 750i? (18 Kt) white gold jewelry, designed as an all-purpose formulation.

NF511 is suitable for continuous casting and for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as sheet, wire, tube. The alloy can also be used for lost-wax casting in closed systems.

Differently from standard palladium-based formulations, NF511 allows complex processing such as continuous casting and mechanical working, thanks to its relatively low casting temperature and its very high mechanical resistance.

The color of 750i? gold made using NF511 shows a premium white color grade (Yellow index: 17.1). In 750i? title it is not necessary to proceed with rhodium plating deposition on surface in order to ensure maximum whiteness on the final jewel.

The hardness of 750i? gold alloyed with NF511 can be increased by means of a heat treatment.
