Mains Distribution Unit

Pranava s Mains Distribution Units (MDUs) are highly compact devices for mains power distribution, overload protection and fuse fail monitoring.
Primarily designed for television broadcast environments, our MDUs are equally suitable for radio broadcast, recording studio, home studio, computer/IT & many other mains distribution applications.
The MDUs are designed for Single 230V AC input and is available in 10 way and 12 way outputs. Each output is electronically protected with a user defined current limit at output.
The MDU features a single multi-coloured LED per output which is normally Blue on load and turns to Red on Fault. The unit is housed in a compact 1U rackmount case. All versions have a high glow amber cluster LED Input Indicator. To overcome the challenge of securing all IEC connector types,both re-wireable and moulded, a single chrome plated tie-bar lacing-bar is fitted as standard. An earth stud is standard fitted at the rear.
The units have an option of built-in 43 dB line filtering at the input as well as separate filters at each output. These help to protect sensitive electronic components connected to the MDU against mains-borne interference and to reduce the audible effects of spikes and dips in the mains supply.
