We have with us premium quality Machinable Metallic Paste which is marketed under brand name MECHSEAL. It's generally a two component system; the base and the hardener are packed in required proportion in 2 separate containers. The metallic paste becomes a very hard metallic mass after curing process is done & doesn't shrinks while setting. It has strong permanent adhesion to almost everything.

General Properties of MECHSEAL

Setting:

After mixing, MECHSEAL sets hard in 4 to 6 hours at room temperature. It cures fully in 24 hours.

Setting time can also be reduced by heating MECHSEAL indirectly as per following table :-

Machining:

MECHSEAL after curing becomes hard, rigid and tough metallic mass; after that processes like shaping, tapping, machining, drilling, shot blasting etc. can be done easily.

Chemical Resistance:

Cured MECHSEAL generally has good resistance to petrol, diesel, mild alkalies, acids, mineral oils, kerosine, cutting oils, water etc.

Heating Resistance:

Cured MECHSEAL can resist direct heat upto 120C & indirect heat upto 200C. When exposed to higher temperature it undergoes a certain amount of hardening and yellowing.

Painting:

Cured MECHSEAL surface can be easily painted with lacquer, synthetic enamel and oil paints.
