Lamination Resin - Quick-curing Unsaturated Polyester, 2-9 Poises Viscosity Range, Excellent Adhesion And Transparency

These Lamination Resin is a quick-curing unsaturated polyester resin of orthophthalic type for making polyester plywood. It is waxed,
and pre-accelerated with accelerator NC or CM upon request. Type NC has cobalt content higher than Type CM and thus enables coating to dry and harden more rapidly. However, Type CM is recommended when end products required light color or transparency.
Lamination Resin is available in various viscosities ranging from 2 poises to 9 poises to meet users needs. There are 3312 to
3319, with the last digit standing for viscosity. Other types of lower or higher viscosities can also be supplied upon request. While users can save their cost with a lower-viscosity type, they can better the quality of their products with a higher one.
331 is highly reactive. It possesses excellent adhesion and can release bubbles quickly thus assuring an easy
processing. Polyester plywood made with this resin will have shiny and transparent surface with good rigidity.
However, sanding and polishing will be required for highly glossy finishes.
B. APPLICATIONS
331 is specially formulated for use in polyester plywood as decorative board or material for TV or radio cabinets,
furniture and other household articles. For decorative purposes, background paper with a special design and
color is to be used. If a plain color without any design is needed, pigments (color pastes) must be mixed with resin
before application.
