KAOLIN is a white soft plastic clay chemically inert composed primarily of well-ordered Kaolinite mineral having chemical composition of [Al2Si2O5(OH)4] with minor amounts of Quartz, Feldspar and sheet Silicate minerals (Mica, Illite, Smectite). It is a hydrated Alumino-Silicate having sheet structure.
After mining the above mineral ore is dressed, water washed (levigated), air-floated, calcined and surface modified, pulverised, micronised in to fine powder form. Free Silica (Grits) and metallic impurities are the most undesirable impurity which is removed in the process of manufacturing.
Clay is amenable to benificiation by known methods to make it suitable for use in different industrial application. As per the application the grade are selected by the end user. Our processing ensures consistent quality, control of top cut and average size & freedom from impurities.
