We are a knitted cloth manufacturing firm based in the city of Ludhiana, India. Akron was established in the year 2011 by Mr. Anupam Gupta, an alumnus of London Business School and The University of Hong Kong. He founded the company with a clear focus in mind of providing best quality fabrics to his customers. His long family legacy and experience in the field of textiles inspired him towards this goal. His family has an experience of more than 7 decades in the field of textiles and knitted fabrics. It all started in the year 1949 when Mr. Krishan Gopal Gupta Ji, late grandfather of Mr. Anupam Gupta started a small garment shop in the city of Ludhiana, Punjab (India). From a small garment shop the family business has now grown into a group of four well established manufacturing units with in house world class production facilities. We have a strong in house production facility with a wide range of circular knitting machines. We are a complete fabric manufacturing to a garment manufacturing company with a strong team of world class designers and technicians who continuously strive to provide our customers with new in trend garments and best quality fabrics. We manufacture mostly all kinds of knitted fabrics (Both in single jerseys (shinker) and double jerseys (interlock) rangng from plain sinker and interlock fabrics, knits like pique (matty), football knit, dot knit, rice knit, diagonal knit, checks etc and various types of fabrics. We manufacture fabrics in mostly all kinds of yarns, 100% Cotton, fancy yarns like slups, neps, injection slubs etc.
