Impulse Voltage Divider is used to measure the resistance of a sensor. It can also be used to lower down a very high voltage so that the voltmeter can read that voltage. The voltage divider is used as a logic level shifter to join two circuits that use different operating voltages. At very low frequencies, it is also used as signal attenuators. To make the movement convenient, there are wheels at the bottom of the divider and it also has corona rings at the top.
