The SMWH Wall Hatch consists of a thermally insulated smoke extraction hatch and a JMHT Axial Fan for smoke extraction. The wall-mounted hatch with 60 mm urethane insulation protects the Fan, which is installed on the inside of the building. The construction protects the Fan from difficult weather conditions. The Axial Fan used in the Wall Hatch is a JMHT series high temperature Fan (CE EN 12101-3, temperature class 400 i? C / 2 hours). The blade pitch, factory-set to provide smoke exhaust at the desired flow rate, can be adjusted on site if necessary. The JMHT Hatch is designed so that internal pressure drops remain low even at high Fan speeds. This combined with the high efficiency of the JMHT Smoke Extract Fan guarantees smoke exhaust at the lowest possible installed power. The hatch protects the ductwork and the Fan from external weather conditions. It prevents warm indoor air from escaping outside (U-value 1,0 W/m2K) and protects the Fan from impurities and moisture, keeping it operational. When a need for smoke extraction is detected, the hatch Actuator is activated to open the hatch.
