Packing Tips
- Keep your jewellery / cash / valuable documents in your custody / Lock before the packing get started.
- Carrying liquor, gas cylinder, acid or matchbox is totally prohibited. Please do not try to send these items with your valuable goods.
- Get dismantled all the modular furnitures with the help of a professional carpenter / retailer.
- Carton Box made of 7 ply (160 gsm) or 5 ply (180 gsm), corrugated paper is to be used for packing of crockery / book / clothes / utensils etc.
- All the furnitures to be wrapped with air bubble(quality of bubble should be 60 no/6kg per 100 meter ) then double wrapped of corrugated paper and finally plastic lamination. This will provide protection to the furniture from being scratched.
- For better packing you can ask for foam (white) of 6 mm instead of air bubble. Make sure that the packer makes strong base and corner with the help of corrugated paper for the safety of furnitures leg and corner.
- Electronic Equipments: Use of original carton boxes is better than packing material. If you do not have the original boxes then you should ask to use Thermocol (18mm), air-bubble or foam, corrugated paper (doublerapping) with side corners and plastic film.
- Front load (door) washing machine should be locked before packing; otherwise the drum of washing machine will get breakage.
- Minimum five layers of paper is better for packing of crockery item means a crockery item should be packed with minimum 5 paper sheets and Thermocol should be placed in bottom and top of carton box before fill up packed crockery item.
- Plastic film is essential on the carton box of cloth, books, toys and crockery.
