Hot Chalks are used for the temporary marking of metals during welding operations. It is also used for the temporary marking of textiles or laser cutting, Instant and Infadable markings at various temperatures on Hot and Rough Surfaces of Steel Castings, Forgings, Sheets, Plates, Strips & Rolled items. Ingots Billets & Slabs etc. For marking red-hot iron and welding seams as well. Long lasting, fire proof stroke, clearly visible even through welding goggles. Completely wipe proof and very economical. Hot Chalks are available in round and square shapes. It does not need sharpening. Suitable for markings upto 1200 Degree Celsius.
Hot Chalks are commonly also known by HOT MARKING CRAYONS, HOT/COLD MARKING CHALKS, METAL MARKING CHALKS, METAL MARKING CRAYONS or FRENCH CHALKS.
HARZARDOUS IDENTIFICATION :
These CHALKS do not burn in the Air, are Non-Toxic and if sunk in water for a continuous period might get mild oxidized.
