Robbins makes two different types of Horizontal Conveyors. Our simple single-drive, steel-cable-belt systems are perfect for straight tunnels. Our multi-drive, fabric-belt systems can carry muck through a tunnel with more curves than a snake. Both systems employ Robbins main drives, advancing tail pieces, belt storage cassette and belt splice stands. When driving a tunnel through curves, your conveyor system will also require booster drives and our patented self-adjusting curve idlers.
