Fiber High Viscosity Mixing

FenixAR offers a range of Static Mixers for mixing of liquids. The fluids to be mixed are pumped at the inlet of the unit containing static mixing elements which are so geometrically shaped that flow in both radial and axial directions take place.

The movement is multiplied by incorporating multiple mixing elements successively. The angle of movement is changed in subsequent elements if the process design demands so. As a result, completely mixed fluid emerges out at the other end.

Fenix static mixer finds excellent use particularly when homogeneous solutions of highly viscous liquids are required in the process and for liquids with very low viscosity, poor solubility or for making emulsions.

Fenix offers static mixers in wide ranging capacities for various applications, flow properties and varying pressure drops. We manufacture them in SS and other exotic metals and alloys, and in PTFE-lined material.

Fenix FMV Static Mixer : Mixers having V-shaped elements are used for mixing low viscosity gases and liquids, dispersing immiscible liquids, contacting gases with liquids, mass transfer operations and chemical reactions.

Fenix FMX Static Mixer : Mixers having X-shaped elements are suitable for - Mixing high viscosity fluids, mixing and dispersing liquids, homogenizing plastic melts in extruders and injection moulding machines, control of chemical reaction with narrow residence time distribution.

Fenix FMXL Static Mixer is meant for extra-large capacities.
