Key Features
shunts provide good long term stability. Heat generated by the measurement current is adequately dissipated by the large surface area of the exposed elements. The CS-500 and CS-1000 are open, parallel blade construction. They have been found to agree well between DC and 50/60 cycles, but are not recommended for pulse or high frequency use. For lower currents, CS-1 to CS-300 shunts, or the MCS Multiple Current Shunt, a temperature-stabilized set of shunts from 1 A to 300 A are available. All shunts are supplied with ISO 17025 accredited, NIST traceable calibration at 25, 50 & 100 % rated current.
