Hf6000 Stabilizer

Tianhe HF 6000 Stabilizers(Spiral and Straight)use Plasma Transfer Arc(PTA) process for hardbanding(thickness up to 5mm) to provide longer service life. Furthermore, the hardbanding can be easily rebuilt to reduce the drill tool running cost. The PTA process is fully automated with the movement of the hardfacing torch controlled by a 6=axis robotic arm and simultaneous movement of the workplace.
The nickel-based hardfacing powder consisting of tungsten carbide is specifically designed to withstand abrasion or moderate corrosion and abrasion combined. The coating is abrasive and friction resistance because the tungsten carbide particles are evenly distributed throughtout the entire matrix of the stabilizer blade. The production of tiny grains of tungsten carbide, melted by a revolutionary process, reaches a hardness of 2400-3000 on the Vickers hardness scale. This process allows better bonding directly to the tool's base metal. Tungsten carbide confers to these particles with an astonishing degree of impact strength and abrasion resistance, prolonging the tool life with less wear and consistent performance.
