Oscar HCV test is intended used for qualitative detection of antibodies (IgG/IgM/IgA) to HCV (Hepatitis C virus) in human serum / plasma as in aid of HCV diagnosis. It is based upon lateral flow immuno assay and double antigen system has been used in the test formulation to have better sensitivity and specificity.

Recombinant proteins of HCV (Core, NS3, NS4 and NS5) have been used for coating on nitro cellulose membrane and colloidal gold conjugate.

Specimen of choice is serum / plasma and result can be obtained within 5-20 minutes.

Oscar HCV test is available in 20T & 50T pack.

It has shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacturing if stored at 2-30a C under sealed conditions.
