We make Electro Spark Deposition machine DIEMO-SURGEON 25 for Surface Hardening. This innovative equipment is used to apply Tungsten Carbide (TC) coating on functional surfaces.

* Flash Generation is one of the biggest issues faced in Plastic, Glass & Die Casting dies. After repetitive operations, the sharp edges of the dies wear-out and becomes round which is the root cause of flash generation. TC coating on these sharp edges provides the surface hardness up to 70 HRC (compared to approx. 45-50 HRC of die), hence it improves wear resistance of the edges which results in die life improvement.

* For Surgical Tools, this process is best suitable for gripping and surface hardness.

* In Sheet Metal industry, TCD surface prevents punch wear and slug pull-back problems. Forging Dies are TCD processed for better hot hardness. TCD process is used to restore tolerances on components such as, shaft & bearings and improve maintenance of plant equipment.

* Carbide impregnation is an economical way for increasing effective tool life and wear resistance of wear-prone surfaces.

*Fused, metallurgical bonded TCD coating will withstand bend tests, thermal shocks and mechanical shocks.
