This range of Hammer Mills mainly consists of a steel drum that contains a vertical or horizontal cross-shaped rotor. The pivoting hammers are mounted on this rotor and are free to swing on the different ends of the cross. As the rotor spins at a fast speed inside the drum, the material to be crushed is fed into a feed hopper. The hammers impact the material on the ends of the rotating cross, after which, it is shredded and expelled through screens in the drum. These Hammer Mills have excellent crushing efficiency and are used in diverse applications.
