Cooking Methods

Gentle Boil Method

Boil 1 cup(200gms) Mayur in 2.5 cups of water, stir occasionally. Reduce heat and boil gentry. Keep it uncovered for 12-14 minutes. Drain well & serve.

Microwave Method
Place 1cup (200 gms) Mayur and 2 cups of water in a microwaveable container loosely. Cook on medium/high in microwave for 15 minutes. Let it stand for 5 minutes before serving. Fluff with a fork.

Cover pan method

Thoroughly rinse 1cup of Mayur and soak for 15-20 minutes in water. Add the soaked rice and salt to 2 cups of boiling water. Cook on medium heat until the rice absorbs the water. Cover with tight lid and remove the pan from fire. Wait for 10-15 minutes & serve.
