When continuous monitoring of a toxic gas concentration is not essential but monitoring its concentration at a specific moment or at specified interval is all that is desired, UNIPHOS short term detector tube provides the answer.
Consist of a solid carrier material impregnated with Info (PDF 44 KB)h sensing chemicals sealed in a glass tube with tapered tips.
When a fixed volume of sample air containing the target gas is drawn through the tube by means of a UNIPHOS Precision Air Sampling Pump, a discolored stain develops.
Stain length is calibrated to directly read the target gas concentration in ppm, percentage or mg / m3 on the tube scale.
Tubes are available for NH3, H2S, SO2, Cl2, PH3, HCl, HCN, CO, CO2, CS2, C6H6 and many other gases & vapours.
