Fused Ceramisite

Fused ceramisite is a non-quartz artificial sand applied to metal casting production. It is suitable for many casting methods such as vacuum casting, VRH, LFC, investment casting, common sand (clay, sand, Na2OA.nSiO2 + CO2 sclerosis) and resin sand. The fused ceramsite is applicable with a variety of adhesives, which can greatly improve the quality of castings and sand is easy to clean. The sand process is simple and convenient, no need coatings for most castings, especially suitable for the production of high quality castings.

You shall note that it is not appropriate to dry the dry core, mould in kiln during the use of sodium silicate hardened CO2 sand, (if drying is necessary, you must control the heating rate). With the development of the foundry industry and environment protection, fused ceramsite are becoming more popular among casting plants. It has been hailed as environmentally friendly (GREEN BEADS) casting materials, with good use prospects.
