Key Features
The electromagnetic fuel indicating system is made of two separate
units; the indicating unit i.e. Fuel gauge mounted on the instrument
panel and the serving unit i.e. Tank unit fitted on to the Fuel tank.
The fuel gauge incorporates a cross coil movement with a freely
suspended bipolar magnet, moving under the magnetic influence of these
two coils, carrying cursor the float position. The tank unit basically
is a variable persistence, depending on the float arm position which
rises or falls with the fuel level. The Fuel gauge and tank unit are
unaffected by a single sire and employee chassis for the returns
circuit.
AJ Fuel Gauge: 52 mm and 60 mm diameter other cae sizes and profiles on special request.
Range: Empty (E) to Full (F) with intermediate stages such as reserve, quarter, half and three quarter as per requirement.
Operating Voltages: 6, 12 or 24 volts.
Dial Reading upon: 78o to 90o.
Reading Style: 30 clock, 90 clock, 120 clock.
Bezel Finish: Bright chrome / Black painted.
Dial design and Pointer: As per requirement.
Illumination: Normally back lit with poly carbonated dial and rearmainted bulb holder. Suitable for BAYS / BA 95 bulbs.
Mainting: Panel mounting type with 'u' clamp / side brackets.
Optional: Reserve indicator on dial.
BJ Tank Unit:
Type: Floating Arm, sliding contact type.
Flange: 5 holes / 6 holes as per standards.
Range: Can be developed for any fuel tank of any shape / profile.
Operating Voltage: Tank details tube furnished.
Polarity: Suitable for both positive ornegative grounded system.
Float: Gasoline resistant material.
Mounting: Either Top or side mounted on the tank.
Gasket: Either of synthetic rubber uberised cork, moved with the tank unit.
