EVOLUTION OF GLASUD AT FESTEL
Glasud is a novel product developed by Festel exploiting the superior proportion of pultruded FRP elements and realizing the need to utilize the abundantly available seasoned grade wood. Glasud is a composite material with weather resistant pultruded outer skin with wood as the core material, thereby enhancing the utility of the seasoned grade wood employed as the core material.

SPECIFICATION OF GLASUD SECTIONS

Glasud Sections are made by Pultrusion Technology with Pultrusion Machine. Glasud sections have a pultruded FRP outer skin and pine wood inner core. The FRP outer layers have more than 50% glass content and manufactured under high pressure and temperature. Door Frames can be fabricated by cutting the glasud sections in various sizes and screwed with wood screws. Care should be taken to ensure that all ends of Glasud are sealed perfectly by the application of polyester sealing putty. The various sizes of Glasud Door Frame sections are given below.
