Fluorescent Tube Dimming Controller

Fluorescent tube dimming controller, series FTL-100, is developed for controlling flicker free dimming of fluorescent tube from 100% to 10%, by a single point DMX512A command from any standard DMX control desk or preset panel operating on DMX512A protocol. Unit is designed for continuous duty operation. It does not require any special cooling fan, or air-conditioning.

Fluorescent tube dimming controller gives 0-10V DC signal at mA per channel output, enough to drive 10 dimmable ballasts, of phillips, Osram make, or like, which can thus control upto 20 fluorescent tubes per channel. Maximum of 16 channels of output per unit is available. For 100% to 0% dimming of fluorescent tubes, we add another circuit card which switches off 230V AC power to Ballasts when dimming is below 10%. Each such card has dimming is below 10%. Two cards shall be mounted in the box for full 16 channels.

For special applications, panel can be configured to provide 8 channels of dimming and 8 channels of switching ON / OFF of CFL/FTL or 16 channels of only switching. In fact you can specify what you want and we can provide you a solution for fluorescent lamp dimming or switching. Multiple, more than one, wall panel, can be connected to the panel, to suit customers requirement. Hand held programmer to set the intensity and mood settings can be plugged in the circuit for altering the program setting.
