Flexible Couplings By P. G. Electronics

The PG couplings transmit information between two shafts precisely besides torque. They are flexible in lateral and angular position movement yet torsionally stiff in rotary motion.

The shaft coupling Series PSK are Spiral versions, which are comparatively `softera in axial and angular movements as compared to series PPK in straight slit versions, both are torsionally rigid.

They are used for even the most precision shaft encoders to transmit position information of very high resolution a e.g., 131072 steps per turn. Also used as stepper motor drives, techo generators and all rotary precision position transmitters.
