The crane series is based on the market-leading mobile harbour crane concept from Liebherr. Instead of a rubber tyre undercarriage, the LFS is mounted on a permanently-installed base pillar. This reduces the amount of space required and ensures high productivity rates from the mobile harbour crane range at the same time.

The LFS product-series comprises seven models. The model categorisation and performance data correspond with the mobile harbour crane series. The balanced LFS-series offers maximum lifting capacities of 42 to 308 tonnes. The versatile cranes are designed among other things to handle containers, bulk goods and heavy loads.
