Finely Finished Separating Funnel

The Separating Funnel we are providing is also known as a separation funnel, or colloquially Sep funnel. Separating funnels used in laboratories are typically made from borosilicate glass and their stopcocks are made from glass. Typical sizes are between 30 ML and 3 L. It is laboratory glassware that is used in liquid-liquid extractions for the separation of the components from a mixture into two solvents of different densities. The higher-density liquid settles to the bottom and can be drained out through a valve. The less dense liquid is left in the funnel itself.
