Fault Indicators

The KFI series Fault Indicators are mounted on overhead line to indicate single phase earthing fault or short-circuit fault. In case of the single phase earthing fault or short-circuit fault occur, the indicator near the fault will show red and the light of it will flick to give the alarm.
With the help of on line monitor system, the fault signal will be transmitted to the control center. The software in the center will analyze the fault and then indicate the position and time of it.
In case of instant fault, the indicator will reset in 8 or 12hours (can be set according to customera s requirements) and red alarm will disappear automatically. If it is a permanent fault, the alarm will not disappear until the fault to be cleared
