FAMI-QS (Feed Additive and Pre mixture Quality System) is a accredited system that grapples with safety and quality of the food as well as assuring of European regulatory compliance of ingredients and their processes. The feed is prone to infection and contamination in its intended application, it causes detrimental effects on human and animal health, the food obtained from the food -producing animals is harmful for human consumption. Over the years the European Union (EU) has devised several regulations to enhance the quality and safety of feed additives and pre-processing. The standard of practice, called as FAMI-QS Code, is issued to secure the strict compliance to regulations.
