This drug is used to cure tuberculosis an infectious disease mainly affecting the lungs, Ethambutol Hydrochloride tablets stop the growth of bacteria. This medication is prescribed with one more tuberculosis medicine. Ethambutol Hydrochloride belongs to a class of anti-tuberculosis drugs. This antibiotic is helpful in treating only bacterial infections and it may not work for viral infections such as common cold, flu.
